It’s time for another episode of Casual Trek, and today we’re talking about one of the few characters to make it as series regular on two shows. That’s right, it’s time for some Worf episodes!

TNG’s “Heart of Glory” has Worf meet some Klingon lads who are a bad influence as they reckon they can Make Qo’noS Great Again.

DS9’s “Way of the Warrior Part 1 & 2” have some big politics and paranoia as the Klingons have decided to invade Cardassia Prime. We get some old friends with Friend of the Pod Gul Dukat, the glorious crazy eyes of Gowron, new friend Martok and the arrival of Worf to the station.

Are you one of those rubes who thinks Star Trek: First Contact was the real first contact? In the most recent Casual Trek episode we’re talking about aliens living among us, including Carbon Creek. This was an alternate title and cover for the episode, celebrating the real truth about Vulcans hiding on Earth in the 1950’s. It’s available on all good podcatchers!

I love that Professor X decides the best way to steal Mystique from the Department of Homeland Security is to dress up as Magneto (who we all think is dead at this point) and attack their base.

Mystique delivers a line which places her solo series so firmly in the early 00’s here.

This week on Casual Trek we’re talking about aliens hiding among us, thanks to the generosity of Ko-Fi donor Cheryl!

First up we’ve got “In the Flesh” for Star Trek: Voyager. Chakotay infiltrates the biggest Starfleet LARP in the Delta Quadrant and pretends to be an alien pretending to be human!

Then we’ve got Enterprise with “Carbon Creek” which shows the real First Contact, where T’Pol’s ancestor and a couple of other Vulcans have a kind of cosy historical story as they crash land on Earth and try to fit in.

Finally there’s some more Enterprise with “Home”, where Earth’s got a touch of the old xenophobia after the War on Terror season and Archer’s goes rock climbing with his ex and a new, brooding personality.

Of course there are a lot of tangents, so many we didn’t get into hearing the new Enterprise theme tune for the first time. It’s still bad!
